Wanted - Euro Style Number Plate Surround

Hi All

Having seen the photo's posted by Robbo51 of his amazingly clean type S, I noticed that he had fitted euro type number plate surrounds but with the Honda Logo.

He advised me that he managed to get them from a German member of this forum and I would like to get some too

Is there anyone out there who could help???

Thanks csmcqueen but I'm looking more for the VW Wolfsburg type that are black and the number plates clip in

Can't you just get them at the local shop? Here they are quite common. Got mine from a local shop called Brezan. They got a website, too, but I don't know if they take orders.

Thanks Koen but I've tried quite a few places in the UK but with no joy! Would you know of a shop near you with a web site in English that I could order from?

I'll drop them an email to get a price on some surrounds with Civinfo.com and Honda Civic and see what they say.

The only thing is I personally would not have time to arange this for everyone but we can worry about that later if the price is right.

I guess I could go over to the local shop and order you guys some plate holders (if you'd be interested). If I remember well, the go for around 12 euro (9GBP). Don't know what it would cost to send them over however. Maybe even more than the holder itself.
The ones they sell here are completely black with only a small red or green streak that surrounds it. Got one on my civic, I'll try to post a picture in the morning.

Update:
Here are the pictures. You "open" the holder by twisting the 2 plastic screws 1/4 and then it folds open.
Sadly, there's just not enough room for the small civinfo sticker at the bottom.

Ok as requested I have spoken to Justmatz and they have advised the following if anyone is interested

They can supply a Euro style number plate surround like koen's but without the colour border but with any logo the forum would like.

I suggested things like civinfo.com or honda civic but this would need to be decided if enough interest is shown


The cost would be £22 per pair plus £4.80 delivery with a minimum order of 30 pairs - or 60 plates surrounds if you only want front or rear

They would require the order to go in for everyone at the same time and payment in advance. Names and delivery addresses would be required on a spreadsheet for them to fulfil the order

Well that's the info I have got so I'll wait and see if there is any interest on the forum.
