Not a CIVIC -ZX6R C6F 2006 for sale

For Sale – Kawasaki ZX6R C6F 2006

First registered 1/1/06 by Motorcycle Centre Orrell Ltd Bought by me on 11/2/06 with 0 miles on the clock so I am officially the 2nd owner.





Bike is virtually standard with the addition of a Ffabri Double Bubble screen

a Pyramid Hugger.

And it is Datatagged
Serviced by Motorcycle Centre Orrel at 698 miles and 4285 mile sit now has 7229 mile son it (after a little 50 mile run out this afternoon.


I have all 3 keys, the master Red key, the spare shown plus the one I use,



The bike is in excellent condition (I won’t say Showroom as so many folks do as no bike is ‘showroom’ once it has left and been ridden). There are a couple of very small marks the worst being a black scrape on the left of the tail section where I caught it with the bar end of the track bike as I was moving it past. This can be seen in the second picture.

It’s in the only proper colour for a Kawasaki – LIME GREEN – and rides like new. Brakes are fantastic, engine is great, suspension works brilliantly, firm but not ridiculously so like the B model before it.

It’s taxed until end Jan 2009 and will need it’s first MOT then as well. Can be seen in the pic of the hugger.

Has to go as I am getting a Triumph Street Triple in about 4 weeks. Will be sorry to see it go but I have my track one for track days and I am after something a bit less focused for road riding (I’m getting on a bit)

Looking for £3800, the bike can be viewed in Sale (South Manchester) at late Friday afternoon or at weekend. I can deliver within 10 miles of home for free or further for a reasonable fee to be agreed between us. (Delivery in the Milton Keynes area can also be arranged with notice).

You are correct it has, if you read the advert properly you will see that I also have a trackbike. It's the same model so the wheels are interchangeable.

The tyres on the bike (Rennsport Road Compound) now have done a track day at Oulton Park earlier this year. I then put a set of race tryes on for warmer days. The Tyres are fine just need a few hundred road miles to clean them up again, I haven't had chance to do the miles yet.

Just the image of that back tyre is enough to put me off,makes it looks like the bike has been thrashed.

THRASHED??? No, it looks like its been used as it was intended to be used!!!

Lets face it mate - they were never touring tyres to start with were they?!

Having ridden too many bikes to mention, I can confirm that if you're not using the whole rev range on a ZX6R, then you are missing the point of the engine entirely (notice I didn't say the word 'thrash'!)

I've used R6's ALOT whilst instructing for California Superbike School, and they also need the rider to use the higher revs to get the best out of them - if you didn't it'd feel VERY slow indeed!

Nice bike mate - looks very well kept - good luck with the sale!

Much the same as a Civic then , if you don't use the Rev's you miss the experience. Would love that bike, but I havn't got a bike licence

was going to reply allong similar lines, thanks for that.

the ZX6R revs to 16K and peak power is at arounf 14K so yes it needs to be used (not thrashed) to get the best out of it. I would never be able to use the tyres to that extent on the road (nor would I want to) due to poor road surface other road users etc.


Anyway still for sale
