FS: New (weighted) gear knob

As per the thread title, new gear knob which you may be interested in.

Planning on getting 5 (more if interest demands) and they'd work out at £45 delivered (UK members) - any European members would need to provide their details for shipping calculation.
Knob weighs 440g (compared to 120-140g Type R types).
Standard M10x1.5 thread for manual levers - auto version being looked into in due course.
Machine finished as per the images above, but a shot-peened/frosted effect version being a possible consideration.

So, who's up for one or two?

Can keep things separate or add your member name in the THAOC thread of the same - http://www.phpbber.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=919

Cheers guys and gals.

LOL - It's not impatience, just surprised no-one commented on whether they liked the look or not.
I'm not trade - just thinking about getting a few for fellow Accord owners, and thought you Civic chaps may like to partake as well.

Personnaly I like the look of it, I might consider it when I finally get the car. It simple and subtle.

They've arrived - photos will be uploaded later once I've put mine on the car.

Here they are

I'll have to get a wide angle from the back seats, and yes, I'm already aware the boot needs addressing - working on something proper, but for now the plastic bit has been removed and I'll invert the top and use a zip tie round the lever.
When the short-shift unit is ordered and arrives, I'll hopefully have the boot sorted.
Then again, I might do something entirely from left field!

It looks great but I have a question: is the boot in real leather? Because it looks like simili to me (it has a plastic look to it)

Nope, it's some sort of faux stretchy leather-look material.
Fairly convincing until you feel it and see the reverse side when that section of the console has been removed.

The short one looks better. But I did prefer the Sport type it fit very well with the Civic style.

Yep, I prefer the standard Civic one, and I think £45 for a gear knob is a tad OTT when you already have one.

Sorry, don't like it at all. Nice Accord though. My last car before my Civic.

Another vote for the standard gear know here, I afraid. FWIW, I feel the design of the standard one fits in well with it's surroundings.

Anthony.
