Wanted: Diesel EX with all the trimmings

I've been looking for a good spec diesel EX for far, far too long now and joined civinfo with the specific aim of finding one. Having recently missed out on one that was almost ideal for me (except it was Galaxy Grey rather than NHB - no disrespect Mike - I'm sure I would have grown to love it), I need to find out if the machine I'm looking for is just out there somewhere waiting for me to find it.

What I want is (in order of priority):

Standard EX, around 1 year old, average mileage or less in Night Hawk Black (but would consider most other colours except Alabaster Silver)
Studio pack or just rear view camera (or just parking sensors at a push)
18" alloys (pretty much any style would do)
Leather
Sunroof
Anything else would be a bonus - iPod connectivity would be the icing on the cake

I'm from Yorkshire so I'm careful with money but I'll pay a fair price for the right car. Is that too much to ask?

Hi Rake and welcome!

By sunroof I presume you mean glass roof?

The Honda ipod adapter really is not much good (in my opinion).
There are some threads about it here.

Hope you find what you are looking for, mine is not for sale, and LHD anyway!

can you put 18'' aloys on an ex ???????? try looking at dealers ex demo and they have started getting trade ins

Well lost_again posted a for sale for an '06 (June) 2.2ex with Camera, 18" Storms and Leather/Roof in G-Grey' so it looks like you can (and apologies to lost_again for calling him Mike). Thanks for the suggestion about dealers but I've been searching Autotrader, Parkers, motors.co.uk, etc, off and on since the beginning of the year with no joy. I'll keep looking though.

Leather in >1 year old EX diesels is going to be rare. So I would look for one with tatty seats, and then get the leather done afterwards. I'd also go for a high mileage car, if the price is right, since putting the miles on really makes no difference at all.
