FS- Snooper S4Neo + S100RLD
Got these, because my S6 was dying - but then changed my mind and got a blue S6 instead
Offering to you lot first, but if no takes within a week or so they'll be off to ebay instead So get in quick for a bargin LOL All used, by a co-worker of mine, so I know they come from a smoke free car The RLD was mounted on the dash, so not covered in road grime Snooper S4 This is the older version, before Snooper removed the RLD socket. Still has visual alerts and voice. Includes warnings of schools and riskzones on top of the known Gatso locations etc On the down side, subscription has expired for the updates, so that would need renewing. And there is no manual - but with only 3 buttons to press (including the one that says 'menu', its not toooo difficult to work out what does what LOL) S100RLD This is the add on unit which can be mounted either by the windscreen, or (if you have small hands or take the bumper off) behind the bottom grill near the number plate Detects both Radar and Laser, and displays the appropriate message on the S4. All leads are included - these are: mains power adaptor - needed when connecting S4 to PC for downloads; S100RLD to S4; 12V power lead for S4 - hardwire lead. Has been cut and re-connected, but still seems to work fine serial lead from PC to S4 for downloads. Please note - this means that to do the downloads you will need either a free male serial connector on your PC, or a USB to serial convertor. Also included is the software to do the downloads, which is on a CDR (ie not original, but it came from Snooper). Its version 1.9.1, but has a link to download the latest version (1.9.3) for free I haven't tried this, as obviously the download subscription has expired. What's missing: any brackets to fix the S4 or S100 to the car. Pics as and when if anyone is interested Price: on ebay S4s second hand are going for between about £30 and £60 S100 RLDs second hand between about £40 and £50 So you could get lucky and pick up both for about £70 - or get caught up in bidding and end up paying more like £110... I'm offering both for a total cost of £85 plus P&P I'll keep the P&P as low as possible, unlike certain ebay sellers Guessing at about £5 for mainland UK |
