Well it seems to me that the 'New Road Angel' is now discontinued and has been replaced by the 'Road Angel Plus' rather than being the model above.
Nevertheless I may very well be interested...though I notice one of the 'new' features of the Road Angel Plus is that it tells you what the speed limit is when approaching a speed camera...does the road angel you're selling do that or not? I'd always just assumed all these speed camera gizmos told you what the speed limit was so you know whether or not to be bothered by the alert? The rest of the 'new' features dont bother me as much so if you can let me know the above then I'll probably take it off your hands...

The Road angel Plus/Road Angel compact are both Entry models

Yes it does, it flashes up red on the screen with your current speed on it, there is also an audible beep which increases the closer you get to the camera I'd always just assumed all these speed camera gizmos told you what the speed limit was so you know whether or not to be bothered by the alert? The rest of the 'new' features dont bother me as much so if you can let me know the above then I'll probably take it off your hands...
It also allows you to input speed limits which also gives a visual/audible warning when you creep above the set limit. This stops once you've increased by more than 5mph. This facility can be disabled if not required

I know it flashes up red with my current speed on it but does it only do that if I'm going above the speed limit or does it just do it every time I drive past a camera? Since I spend most of my time driving at the speed limit I can see myself getting pretty annoyed pretty quickly if it's alarming me all the time about something I'm alright with.

I don't really need the overspeed indicator since my lovely civ has that anyway

Everytime you are near or passing a camera. Audible facilities on these model can be muted at anytime. Since I spend most (IMO it's the time you may not that catches you out) of my time driving at the speed limit I can see myself getting pretty annoyed pretty quickly if it's alarming me all the time about something I'm alright with.

Again the facility can be muted but in our area where the plods will pick you up for drifting just a couple of miles over the audible warning suits the need HTH
