Nordic / Scandinavian Meet

OK... winter has ended!

We have been mentioning this loosely now and then, but now it is time to see if we can really do something about it.

How many of you are up for a Nordic / Scandinavian Civinfo meet?

Suggestions on locations?

We have quite a few members in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark now!

Count me in, you know...

In my opinion Sweden's location is in the heart of these four countries.
Therefore, I think somewhere in Sweden is a good spot. (East coast, Stockholm included, perhaps.)
To me, the location doesn't really matter, as I love to take the civ out on a long(er) trip every now and then!

Good idea - be interesting to see the response.
I think somewhere in Sweden would be fine but my choice would be the west coast, somewhere between Gothenburg and the Norwegian border, perhaps the stretch from Lysekil/Kungshamn toTanumshede.

See how it goes

That's great, at least to me it is, only around 750 km's away from where I live at the moment, how bout the big car park close to the bus station in Uddevalla, a tiny little city by the beautiful Bohuslän coast. Lot of Norwegians favourite place in the summer.

Just had a look at Google maps, maybe your proposal isn't so bad - after all we have to give the Finns a thought too, so that it don't ends up to be to remote for them, as they have to cross the Botnia sea by ferry.

I am very interested, but not sure yet if I can travel to meeting. Best time for me would be in June I think.

That's OK mikasa!
I don't think we manage anything earlier than that anyway!
It takes quite some time to collect the crowd/ discuss time and place and organize everything.
Thats why we have to start early to see what the feedback/interest are like.

Come on guys, we need to be (a lot) more than this to set up a meet!!
Otherwise I'm afraid the meet is off.

How about Svinesund - there is stacks of free parking but not much else!!
