Stockholm Car Meets
Not specifically Civinfo meets, but this section was so quiet I thought I would post something!
For any others of you in Stockholm I have updated my website (in Swedish) with the 2012 car meets in and around Stockholm. On Saturday April 28th the "Biggest Car Meet Ever in Stockholm" is being arranged at IKEA Barkarby at 20:00. Anyone going? I plan on being there. Link and Link. |

Here a Car Meet and a Cruise are two quite different things.
A Car Meet is often organised with off street parking etc. A Cruise is typically based around the US car scene (which is massive here) and involves driving around the city / town / village. We don't really have the same chav cruises as the UK, although the "Biggest Ever.." may well turn out to have a bit of that element. |

Mmmmmmm - dependent on my "bad leg", I may very well attend - I'll see how my condition improves
It's actually pretty good already - signed myself out of Hospital 3 weeks ago - and since I came home, I've dumped first the Wheelchair, and then the Crutches - bought myself some snazzy \ hi-tech walking sticks, and I'm now getting about pretty well, albeit my leg and back muscles are still rather weak @ [metin] - sorry, no FN2, just an FK2 !!! |

I'll feel even better, when I can get behind the wheel of my Civic !
3 Months without driving - and now the car is unusable - my son 'kindly' got it ready for the road (at least, he tried to) - punctured a tyre, flattened the already low charge battery (playing music while he was in the garage) He then connected the portable charger the wrong way round (+ to - and - to + !!!), killing the battery completely and it looks like the Main #1 Fuse is blown (entire car electrically dead, even with a trickle charger connected) - SIGH Hopefully, that's all it is - local mechanic coming tomorrow, to see if he can sort things out - new Bosch S4021 Battery and 2 x #1 Fuses waiting for him ! |

I have now updated my website regarding car meets and similar in the Stockholm area for 2013:
See also the related Facebook page which you can "like" to receive updates. If you see something which is missing, but has a confirmed date, please let me know. N.B. everything on the above links is in Swedish, so don't waste your time with them unless you speak Swedish. |
