That's what it says in the book, but if there is rain on the screen, (the front one this time!), it'll start to wipe as soon as the Space Ship is started up.

Annoying really as I have to wipe the rear one, and at the same time, I try and do the 'edges' of the front one, but it can be dangerous with that 6' wiper heading in my direction!

"Some guy knocked on my door last night and asked if I could give him a push.
I asked him to wait outside while I got my coat on.
When I went outside I couldn't see him.
I called out 'Where are you?
He replied, Over here, I'm on the swing!"
If someone has asked you before and you have already explained then I didn't read it, but why do you post in blue?

Because that's the default setting and I don't see the point in changing it just to be different.
I answered your question now answer mine.

Split from:
Foot brake controls wipers?

The option of different colours of text has been made available to users.

Most often it is used to emphasise certain words, like Millie, but there is nothing to stop users posting everything in an alternate colour.

Of course, some colours are easier to read than others.

This is not a very good colour to post in for example.
This is a little better but still not good.

maybe strange - but then if it were in their sig line, we might not even notice it

and some of us on here do have very strange sig lines

I think DR hit it on the head with his answer to the colours...
