How about a section where members can post about there good and bad experiences at dealers with the intention of naming and shameing ? There is quite alot of talk in the buying section of how good the dealer was etc that it would be a good idea to pass this information on to other users.

The danger here is that someone may accuse a dealer of performing poorly and not be entirely accurate. This has legal implications, and also there's the possibility that posts may be written by competitors. This is why forums try and avoid this, and get round the problem by not actually naming a dealer (but allowing the dealer name to be disclosed by PM if need be). Positive posts are of course fine! It is easy to forget that when you write on a forum, you are in effect publishing (just like say a newspaper) and there are laws to ensure that businesses are not hurt by untrue statements.

Positive stuff is good, as is absolutely factual negative stuff, if we're careful...
