New post`s since last visit

Is there any way you can make the topic jump to the first unread post when viewing so that you dont have to scroll all the way through from the begining??

I don't see any problem. Click "View posts since last visit" and you get a list of all the posts since your last visit and you can click (or not) on the ones of interest to you.

Yes but you still have to scroll all the way through to find the unread post.

Yes. On the New Posts Since Last Visit link... to the right there's the last post info, and a little page with an arrow that is clickable. That takes you directly to the last read post.
