Car of the Month?

On some sites they have a 'car of the month' competitionand members get to vote for their favourite car each month.

Could that be considered here?

Do you have a link to someone who does this, just to understand how they do it?

I was talking to Pottsy a while back about the winner being the face of civinfo for a month ie the car on the main page!

Are there enough non-standard cars on the forum to do this every month with a fresh set of cars?

It can be a standard Civic, it doesnt have to be a modded one

Even adding something like wind deflectors or painting calipers should be classed as a mod.

Personally if someone did a really good job cleaning there car and took some good photos then it would be worthy of getting a chance to be car of the month.

I mean we've got everything from 1.4s to S/C CTRs to M200s. So anyone could be car of the month

I agree with the point rossk1009 made.

You don't necessarily have to modify your car, but if you'd spent time cleaning/detailing it, and it had the 'wow' factor, it could be car of the month?

Are we talking "Civic photo of the month" or "Civic of the month"? Discuss.

Whose got the time to sit and compare every civic and then decide which is best ?
Would it not be better for user to submit pictures and do a round robin or random pick ?

Think the competittion is a good idea but not practical in reality

On other forums the mods decide on the entries then we vote from there.....

This is a way it could work

- At the end of each month three vehicles are nominated to be the next Car of the Month by Admin. Members are then encouraged to vote for their favourite.
Once a winner is chosen, the winner is asked to supply a good quality picture of the car & a spec of any mods they have done.
Once a car has been Car of the Month once it is then discounted from being Car of the Month unless it has major cosmetic modifications ( ie it looks completely different).

Then at the end of the month the process starts again
