Just been looking at the various photos on the site of members cars and wondered why all the registraton no's are removed or obscured (mine included) when it seems like the majority or a large number of members want the stickers to advertise the site and their cars.

Isn't it left up to each individual whether they leave their regno on their photos they post? My early ones I removed but the one's I entered in the photography competition I left on, see no harm. BG or Pottsy don't edit them as far as I'm aware

Personally I'd rather remove my plates when posting pics up - why make it any easier than it already is for some low life scum to 'clone' my plates and rack up some serious traffic offences in my name?

OR

Say said low life nicks a NHB Civ to order - if he has my plate ahead of time and made up, then the chances of getting a tug are severley reduced.

That said, I would be very happy to have a CIVINFO sticker on my car

If said low life actually sees my car in the flesh, then directing him in here is not going to help or hinder him in his task of cloning me.
It will however, help any Civ oweners who see it, so that can only be a good thing

Pottsy - any invisible stickers to go with your invisible post?

I disguise my plate for the same reasons as above. Pottsy usually does but not always.

I can't see any benefit in leaving them on. It's dead easy to do even in Windows Paint.
