Please Help!

Guys I'm after some help from some fellow members if I may.....

I've tried to post in the for sale section and as I'd thought at the time having scanned over the rules whilst at work I'd listed properly (taking into account it needed pics, a price and all comms had to be done on thread). Unfortunately as I'd posted whilst at work and being a little busy with more pressing matters I'd forgot to copy and paste the "I've read the trading rules and will follow them to the letter bit" before pushing the post button.

Now I've received a PM from a 'Super Moderator' who to be honest didn't offer any advice other than to send a patronising PM about going back and looking at the 'huge' area of text before posting. Admittedly this was my mistake but I've been offered no advice through response to my PM reply on what to do to be able to post up the thread?

Am I to assume that I have to go to the hassle of completely rewriting my ad? Pretty annoying when I've simply missed a small passage of text off!?!

As a relative new member and having never posted in the for sale section on this forum before to say I'm miffed by the PM sent to me is an understatement. I believe there is a thread going on 'why don't you support the site?'. Well, it's reasons like this that put me off to be honest....

Fair comment mate.
But those little words are priority number one, as many new people just come on here and really cant be arsed to even read the trading rules.
Let alone abide by them

So the mod response really doesnt surprise me TBH

I understand that rules are rules and know that there must be loads of people who come on and don't bother reading them at all. Problem is I simply forgot due to being too busy concentrating on the ad wording and of course my day job

The system on here is completely different to the one I'm used to over on Focus STOC, over there you pay £8 per year to become a club member and this entitles access to restricted forum areas and to post sale/wanted/swap threads, a system that works well to keep the time wasters off the board!

It would have been really easy for me to stick the wheels on ebay or something but I'd like to think that I'm contributing my bit by putting up for sale on here, given that I bought my car and Rage wheels of two fellow members!

My advice would be to pm the mod back and ask for a link to the thread, this happened to me a few weeks ago the mod in question (dimply red I believe) was kind enough to send me a pm with the text from my post in which I copied, added the pictures again and of course the all important line then reposted. As you, initally I was annoyed to have to repost but a polite request saved me the trouble

That's the problem though, I've already responded asking what I needed to do and I've not had response, even though the moderator in question has been active a few times since...

I was hoping to be able to retrieve the ad, as per Toms post above, that had taken me so long to post, along with the 10 pictures that I'd attached?
