New Posts

I've got into the habit of clicking "Mark all Forums Read" before departing each time. This means that next visit the "New Posts" link will be just those 'since last visit'.

Is there a way of quickly just viewing the 'new posts since last visit' ?

Just don't bother marking everything as read. The new posts will show all the posts since you last visited, then a delineator and then all the posts that were made before your last visit but which you haven't read.

This is a problem, because the time limit is a system-wide setting (I cannot vary it for supporters). I would like basic users to have some editing capability, but trusted users to have more.

For the time being I have gone back to normal users having no editing and supporters having lots, and will try to find a better solution in the mean time.
