Type R front & rear skirts!

Hi guys,
Ive just joined forum and its very impressive.
I get my 5dr NHB Civic Cdti ES on Thursday and have purchased the Type R front and rear bumper inserts to colour code the car.
Ive read a few posts and it still seems unsure if this can be done?
Anyone any further info on this?
Kev

Bumper inserts?

Exactly what parts are we talking about here?

Do you mean the front and rear splitters?

Yes sorry, The front and rear splitters.
Ive been reading more into it and it looks like these may look odd.
The triangle exhausts may be too small to fill gap for type r ones and without side skirts & arches it may stick out like a sore thumb
May be better with a image pack or grand prix pack (the same i think) but Honda pics still show this in black plastic with high gloss inserts.
Can anyone elaborate?

Forgive me if I'm wrong but they dont fit I dont think, due to differences in the triangles and side skirts

I am quite sure Robbo is right on this one.

Have a look in the Wiki under "adding R parts to a non-R car".

Yes they won't fit, the exhaust triangles are different.

I think you will have problems with the side skirts too.

The Danish project took a lot of work on that point if I remember correctly.
