It's a 'I drive a Japanese car, so I'm going to put Japanese stickers on it' by the looks?
Authentic JDM Soshinoya Wakaba Badges (Beginner Driver) n Japan, any driver who obtains drivers license within 1 year must show this badge/emblem on their vehicles. It's called "Shosinn-sha-emblem" in Japanese. Shosinn-sha means " Beginner or Starter" Another driver must give their ways even on the busy traffic. Made in Japan. Very rigid and Durable Quality Must have for the true JDM enthusiasts. Reflects in the dark for night driving. However, this link may be more of interest (BEWARE NSFW - Language issue - swearing) What is up with JDM Soshinoya (new driver badge)??? - Other Honda Civic Parts and Products - Honda Civic Forum |

I particularly liked one quote on there from someone 'justifying' why they had one:
"...i want people to see that badge and know to not drive near me. Its like an invisibility shield...." Which would be handy - if anyone else outside of Japan actually knew what it meant |

I agree, I've seen it on like 2 cars, and not had a clue what it meant.

i have not read it at all but came across this comment at the bottom :
"man i got two words for you SCREW YOU! i want people to see that badge and know to not drive near me. Its like an invisibility shield and the simple fact that its JDM! gives it an extra +. The japanese know what they are doing thats why JDM is soooooo cool!! those badges ROCK….a**hole" i hope hes not for real.............. sorry TT found it already but still FUNNY |

Remarkably funny there are people like this out there, I don't mind the odd badge or whatever, but at least admit, you just like it and wanted a badge, not that others know not to get near you. Like the amount of M sport badges around, people stick them on anything not having a clue what they actually mean, if youcar was a JDM import fully JDM'd then fair enough but for as is said a car with US plate on a car not sold in Japan it looks a bit silly.

thinking about it...
wouldn't having an invisibilty shield make it more likely that people would hit you? although I guess he could have meant to say 'invisible' or 'invincibility' |
