Do a search on eBay for road legal number plates. There are quite a few members that produce plates to BSAU 145D, at reasonable prices.

Halfords

Getting new plates made up is a right faff these days (and I can kinda understand why - but...) you need all sorts of documentation to prove that they really are your plates.
Much easier to do that by taking them into Halfords etc than trying to worry about sending stuff off by post.

Of course, you could get a legal-ish looking set made up without any of the docs (which blows a hole right through the idea and just goes to show how law abiding people get smacked whilst law breakers just ignore the rules anyway.... deep breath) - but that won't do you any good if you get pulled over.

Show Plates for Cars and Bikes - Show Number Plates, Custom Number Plates, Car Plates, Bike Plates have quick + free delivery (have waited up to 2 weeks for plates from other web companies).

The plates are good quality and very cheap too I have purchased 3 sets off them over the past few months + saves all the hassle with going to halfords and documentation etc

new plates

If you use halfords I hope you have better luck than I had,,I gave the guy three attempts to get it right (when I say right I mean perfect, all the numbers and letters straight) he couldn't manage it so I went somewhere that could,, ended up with 'perfect ' plates.
This needs to be done on a machine, I went to a place that specialise in graphics.

I got my new plates from my Honda dealer. They were about £20 for the pair (although they gave me them for free)

From memory (a lonf time ago) Halfords were about £15 - £20 per pair, but that could have increased a bit by now.

Back when the laws were less strict I used to use MalPlates (MAL Plates - vehicle personalisation specialists) who did me a fantastic carbon fibre one for my bike

Looks like making plates has become too much hassle for them though, as they seem to no longer be doing them

Halfords charge £13.50 per plate. My new plates came from the local Honda dealer who charged £21 for the pair.
