Fugen spoiler. Has anyone fitted this one?

Item number on ebay: 192031071330

I was wondering if anyone on here had bought this spoiler from this seller? Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to be the cheapest one on ebay. This seller has excellent feedback. I may bite the bullet and see how it goes. Would be good if somebody can add some re-assurance, or even warn me against it!

It definitely looks the part. Nice adjustment facility on the rear find, easy to paint as initially primed.

I think what ever u buy which is clearly a replica, there is no way of being sure, but seeing as this one is £200 and the original would probably set u back £1k, I would go for it if I were u with the expectation it might not be 100% perfect, then be pleasantly surprised after if it is.

It does look ok... but you may also want to consider TypeRKits, who have an excellent replica, no adjustment required, in primer, for £336. Most people have said they can just be painted as-is, no prep required.

Ye I actually e-mailed type r kits. I asked for a quote with the spoiler painted in nighthawk black and they quoted me 511.90 including delivery. It kind of put me off. Hence why I started looking at this. I would also consider the mugen style rear lip too.

Have you found any other options that you are considering?

511 is quite steep, especially when the paint process is so easy. Why don't u have a go at painting it yourself??

I was thinking about this aswell. I suppose I would have to wait till the weather gets better as I don't have a garage. Or could find somebody more locally at a reasonable price to do it. I had an idea, but wondered if it was a stupid idea.......would it look stupid if I wrapped in gloss black vinyl or is there even such a thing as nighthawk black vinyl? Feel free to let me know that's just a stupid idea and would look really bad! I suspect it will? Or not?

Wouldn't go down the vinyl wrapping route with that spoiler, it would have to be done in several bits, the joins would be very visible close up.
It would work out a lot better sprayed imo.

I offered the seller £175 and he accepted! Didn't expect that. Going to get it sprayed. I've emailed a few places around me for quotes. Thinking of just getting the lip spoiler too and get both sprayed at same time and save money!

Just got paid today, so only managed to pay the seller today. Decided to order the rear lip too lol. The seller refunded me £10 for the postage as he's going to combine and it seems he also has sent them out already aswell with TNT express. The items got marked as dispatched with a tracking number around 16:30. Pretty rapid turn around. Impressed so far. So I've emailed a few places with pictures to ask for quotes to spray the parts. Still not heard. Anybody be able to give a good estimate of what I should be looking to pay, so I can gauge their quotes. Also I'm in Glasgow. If anyone has any recommendations for any good places, that would be great. I'll keep you guys posted!

I had an aftermarket spoiler for a few months, it fitted ok. I had to use some different bolts to fit the end brackets but it held strong.

The parts arrived today. They were packaged seperatly in two massive boxes. I requested if they could be arranged to be delivered on a saturday aswell. Pretty happy so far. The instructions in the box highly recommend a body shop to fit them. I think I probably will end up just doing that to get the best fit etc. I was initially going to just get them sprayed and put them on myself, which I feel fairly comfortable doing. Also fitted LED interior and licence plate bulbs last night......massive difference. Nice little mod!

Definately will keep you guys updated. Probably won't be going on in the next couple of weeks. Got a few things going on workwise. Not heard back from any of the bodyshops, which I've only emailed. I should call them or go physically with the car and parts. Need time to do that though. I have to say the seller has been excellent so far. Obviously need to see the parts before a proper judgement can be made. Its raining where I am just now, so I've not unwrapped the parts yet. I'll end up making a mess in the house and not really be able to do much.
