Info - getting in to the dash - Civinfo Wiki

Once off, should push out if you want the door off

You need to remove the centre console so that you can push the cubby hole out, and then unclip the door. No way around it I'm afraid, as far as I know.

If it doesn't need replacing then a hammer should do it.

I would paint it. I could also wrap it, didnt think about that. But wraping would be easier if i had the cover out. So either way. Thanks for the info all.

I wanted to get rid of that flap/door altogether for a little mod I did recently, you have to take a fair amount of the dash out to get to that part as described in the guide someone has allready linked. then it was just a couple of screws to get it off the centre console panel. then there is two screws on either side. One side has a spring system, you dont need to mangle the spring. the plastic the spring is connected to pulls straight out.
