Type R spoiler fitting options. Glue or Screw?
I will be fitting the spoiler to my car on the weekend,
I have seen the fitting guide on here and read the comments. I have a oem spoiler and screws, the spoiler sits very well and the car is a 2.2 ex I want to glue it on with silka (windscreen bond) but am slightly tempted now to screw it on. Want opinions on its security only i.e not ("screw it, can be removed easier" Any one's ever fell off or come loose? If so what product should I avoid if silka is not at hand? |

I fitted mine a couple of weeks a go. I liked the idea of being able to take it off for some reasons... Not that it's ever going to come off unless it needs re-painting for some reason which is unlikely. I secured mine with the bolts at each end and then 2 in the middle. It's on solid and had no issues
