Gear Knob Advice

I've always thought the standard gear knob wasn't the most comfortable but never had too many problems until now because it has began to wear on the rubber which looks nasty and i can feel it.

So i was looking around for a new gear knob and i like the Richbrook Slant Top shown by Syx.

I wondered if anyone had a Titanium one fitted just so i can compare.

Im also looking at getting a gaiter but not sure if i prefer with or without what do you think?

Thanks

I just recieved my Skunk2 Billet knob today (6 - Speed ) Very pleased with it.. One of these.

I may get a gaitor though as it looks quite lonely.. would recommend funkypower.com as a supplier.

Like the feel of the skunk 2 but not impressed with the quality! I'm on my 3rd now as the first 2 the red colour came out of the numbers, the one I have now the colour has come out again and the polish is coming off!!, but saying that its still really comfortable to use

Were they genuine Skunk2 gear knobs?

Skunk2 has never offered genuine polished ones:

I think its a normal Skunk2 knob. Look on funkypower, there is the 6 and 5 speed versions.

i prefer the look of the Richbrook slant top compared to the Blox and the Skunk but everyone seems to love the Blox and Skunk in terms of comfort

as i say i was never really into the hole skunk2 craze until i saw the brushed chrome effect skunk2 which i really like and *** like to have, even if it is a copy as stated above, but £51 is alot of money for a knob(keep the jokes to urselfs lol),when i consider the price of postage over to ireland because of its weight. The richbrook slant top is also a nice choice

Can't see this in the for sale section! Are you planning on putting there? Can't pay £45 though!

BTW what are the differences in the new style?
