Carbon / Kevlar Arm Rest...

Hi,

What do you think about a Carbon / Kevlar Arm Rest?

Would fit all Civics, not just the Type Rs, shoulnd be to hard to make and i think it would sell well.

Leave you with the thought...

Regards

It's something we could definitely do, let me check my arm rest..
How about the steering wheel insert?

All of these things we would need a firm GB

Im sure im not the only one that get frustrated with the look of the fabric of the arm rest, carbon would sort that out and give it a nice clean look!!

About the the steering wheel insert, i like it, but its harder to make and harder to fit.

Regards

I think the issue with the carbon wheel insert like said above is the fitting. Most people get put off having to take the wheel apart for a carbon piece. Maybe design a way to clip over without it sticking out too much. If you crack that then o think you will be onto a winner

Interested in the steering wheel cover depending on price.

But dont you think you'll sweat with the arm rest if its solid varnished corbon fibre?
Fair enough it would look awesome but....

Do you use the arm rest? I dont.... but i never saw other people driving a civic...

And you sweet anyway, just goes on to the fabric. Wile if its carbon its easier to clean. litle wipe and its done.

I would be interested in one, thats for sure.

Johnny,

about the steering wheel insert, do you mean one insert like the JS racing steering wheel? or just the insert for the plastic part?

Would a carbon hand brake be possible?
The rest of the cockpit looks good to me (or will with a new knob...) but the handbrake kind of lets it down...?
