Having all the options

Hi guys

Just been thinking out loud and thought i'd ask your opinions on the viability of it.

You have ( imo) probably the best range of tuning parts for the FN2 at the minute, manifolds, intakes and Exhaust are all covered- especially now with the new SRI you have brought out.

There are still 2 holes in your parts coverage though ( and only applies to a small group I admit).

A 3 inch single exit Exhaust that is track friendly ( max 105DB including manifold at 3-4k standing) ( just been informed most UK tracks enforce 98dB)

A 3.5inch long arm intake kit that scoops from behind the fogs with as few bends ( longer the better- a MAP sensor only version would be epic). The best systems also seem to utilise as large as filter as possible and a velocity stack- maybe a package deal with your scoops too+ different size couplers to suit stock,fd2 and skunk2 TBs

Both these systems have shown especially on the US to offer outstanding gains even on stock cammed Si's.

Whats your views on this and what are peoples interest also?

Keep up the good work guys

Stephen

Totally agree mate, hence my post in the TDI section. There's so much kit out on the market, but nothing for the person at the supercharged or high spec NA build level of 250bhp+. Eagerly awaiting someone to produce a big 3.5" CAI and a reasonably priced 3" exhaust.

wouldn’t a 3" exhaust require a 3” exhaust manifold to maximise gains?

would be interesting if Tegiwa could come up with a 3” manifold and exhaust system for the Charged boys

Hi mate, see my post in the catback thread, unfortunately not something we can do at the moment. With regard to the 3" manifolds again not really something we can do yet but we are looking into it. Sorry I can't be more specific!
