Hi Guys

Can you get your intake pipe made up in larger sizes made to order. say 3.5inch tapering to 80mm TB side.

That would be a very niche market ...

However... a powder coated 3' and 3.5' intake pipe could be more appealing to the masses ?

If you have dimensions there is a few companies that will custom make them.

while we are discussing this,

Would you say a 3'-3.5' pipe from the "intake/airbox/filter" should be textured or smooth?

Smooth evidently.
Inlet ports were left rough when highly tuned to stop fuel drop out onto the walls.
David Vizard done a lot of work on this to help improve economy requiring less fuel for the same power as less was wasted/unburned.
So If its before the injectors then smooth is the way to go.
Rephrased as their is a big difference...less surface friction is the way to go....silicon is bad..metal good.

Stoney, i know it's not quite the diameter you were looking for, but Meercat fabricated a 76mm alloy intake pipe for Dave and myself. You could perhaps ask Wullie if they could knock up another custom one for you?

Yea I have spoke with Willie and he was away to source parts but he hasn't got back to me, Dave is gonna get in touch and see whats happening for me

One of the Silicon places ( Js silicone) can only do me a hose if they flare the edges and not have a larger pipe the whole way- little point imo. £400 quid to make a new mould
