Thumbs up 1156hp at the hubs!

Another record is broken at Torque Developments International today! A whopping 1156hp at the hubs was recorded on our Rototest dyno this morning by a drag prepared Toyota Supra on pump fuel! The client is seeking 1300hp at the hubs so watch this space.....

Apologies for not being Civic-centric, but it's hopefully of some interest to the Petrol Heads among us!

JamieP's car was running around 860hp at the hubs but was misfiring.

RyanG and JamieP are bringing her back soon and expecting to see over 1000hp at the hubs

I thought it would have done alot faster than that... probably high 8's low 9's.

The TDI EP3 drag civic is a 9 second car... surely the supra is faster?

It was 10 seconds in it's previous incarnation, so it'll be interesting to see what she does now. Personally I have never seen a turbocharger as large as this before!

This one is very much street legal (although still drag focused) and still sports a full interior, stereo etc, it tips the scales at over 1600kg. Talking to the owner it sounds as though it won't go back out on track until the chassis's got a little more serious and the weights dropped significantly.

oh.. gonna be a beast then. Does it run that power daily or is it on a more milder tune for daily driving? Or frag strip only?

Anyone got pictures?
