my date with the bitch

It all started so rubbish today, I set about fitting my CPL CAI, who ever said it was a diy job was pissed at the time !! Any way got it on and it DESTROYED my car. Last night I was so happy with the car, today it sucked ! I new it NEEDED tuning so I called TDI NORTH (the cowboys !!) and was expecting them to say 6 weeks next Wednesday, nope they fit me in right there and then, top service.

I set off in my flat Civic Type R – got there and there, in the car park, sat my dream girl, the BITCH. I tried to ignore her but I couldn’t hold out and I had to ask about her, oh my she is not only beautiful on the outside, she has a heart of gold and was begging me to take a ride in her !!!

No having been in many super cars and many heavily modified cars I think im a good judge of a good car. With a spec sheet like hers I was expecting something miles away from a car you would WANT to do a long journey, or one that let you know it was far away from what the factory wanted.

Off we go, low boost and the car feels better than a stock car and feels like a well built supercar, I really mean it, nothing felt out of place. On to a straight, and WOW that power delivery is amazing, the sound is amazing, and I want one. Next straight and some fiddling is going on, on with the power and OMG we are in 4th and im sure its just spun the wheels!

I can not describe how good that car is, from the ground up it is amazing, a credit to her owner and to the chaps that built it. The bitch hasn’t been “BUILT” she has been “engineered” from the ground up by an extremely good outfit.

Any way forget about the bitch, I want my car sorting.

On to the rollers and off again to sort my sensor out ant let the tuning begin, ended up with 228bhp and loads pored found mid range – all the time the Bitch was sniggering at me !

All the way home I played with my new found power, I love it. Great job.

Bad thing, think my clutch release bearing has gone! when decelerating I can hear grinding (badly) push in the clutch and it goes.

ill have to nip in tomorrow to see what it is and how long ive got, i can also see the bitch again ! Every Cloud and all that !

I do appreciate your impartial review of The Bitch. It's been a joint labour of love and your post really does make it all worth while for me, The Bitch and Tdi North.

I noticed the release bearing as well. It's not going to cause a problem other than doing your head in so dont panic

Was discussing doing something similar to Dezi's yesterday but with a big FMIC setup and more track focused. Will make it really hardcore though with battery relocation, possibly loosing aircon, stripped out, full Aero kit badass build stuff.

Would be basically a stripped down track version of the bitch.
