Trackday / Track section?

Hello,

I thought it might be a good idea to have a trackday / track section of the forum, for people to discuss their cars / trackdays experiecnes and obviously all talk to do with trackdays, that wouldn't apply to normal road use of the car

ha ha i've done one trackday and i think im Jenson Button

It would be good though to have somewere seperate from the normal road use parts, where people can discuss in details track setups etc that wouldn't apply to the normal cars

Also be able to talk about mods etc above whats normal for a road car.

Nice idea. How many track day goers are there?

I've no intention of tracking my diesel Civic, but I've tracked previous cars and am currently on the look out for a new one.

Good idea, have done a many Club GTI track days over the years, great fun.

Will do a few more this year, I think.

You may need more support to get this going, I use another forum for this type of information. Wouldn't mind seeing one on here though...

Fair point. I suspect most forum members here have track days a long way from their mind.

I too read some really good track day posts on the Lotus forum (seloc) and especially Westfield forum (wscc). On wscc especially there's very good technical information, relevant to other marques too.
