It's about 85 miles. Straight up the M1. My navigation says it will take 1hr29mins-ish, but I'm allowing 2hrs or so.

Jazz, if you click on the link in my lead thread it takes you to the Transform Leather 'Design Options' page. Select (say) Civi 3DR or CRV and then click on 'View Gallery'. If you then move the opened window up with the slider (or scroll with your mouse wheel) you can see several designs some of which show the 'H' logo. I think I made the right choice.

Excellent choice of colour and design, allan.

I am sure you have the time to change June's mind... go for it

I can picture the silver embroidered honda logo on the seat...

I can't muck TL about any more after they shifted around their work schedule to fit me in this week.

The 'H' logo is a special order from their factory in Malaysia and takes about 10 days to arrive, the one I'm having is from stock. We should be there and waiting this time tomorrow .

I liked the logo in Red but I think it really suits a sports version or a Civic in Milano Red (if I had MR then I would have to get Black leather with Red logo). I didn't like the 'H' in the other colours as much .

Maybe I need to get out more, but I have to admit I'm really keen to find out how you get on and to see photos of your new interior Allan!!

Hope all goes well and enjoy the shopping!

Hi Allan
TL fitted the hide interior, via my dealership, on a Milano Red EX. This was some time ago and before Honda offered it as an option with the EX model.
I did actually get to see this prior to the customer collecting the car. It was all black, the bolsters, headrests and door cards in plain with the seat facings perforated. The stitching was the same as mine, ie. in silver.
It looked fantastic with the car's red exterior, a real quality job and I would personally rate it a notch up from Honda's factory fit option. The only possible minus being the lack of heated seats, but like you, I've had them in the past and they hardly ever got used.
Best of luck tomorrow - just wish you had gone for the red facings on your NHB. - but I am sure the all black will look great.

PS Just double check your plastic trim around the doors after fitting - my Civic was fine but my wife's Jazz, which was done some 18 months earlier, had a small scuff on one of the door pillars and was replaced - nothing too serious though. This was caused by my dealership and not TL.

Hi Bassa, colour choice is so difficult. I fancied the Dark Red centres but everyone advised against it as the interior is Black and Silver. I deliberated over the logo in Silver but played it safe by staying Black with Silver stitching as I plan to get a new one in a couple of years and any extra I choose would make it a bit of a special by 'personalising'. The cost is now £981 .

I thought it looked slightly improved on the factory fit option, I think the stitching looks bolder.

Really looking forward to tomorrow, both for the fitting and the drive.

If I had Milano Red I would definitely have Black with Red 'H' logo and Red stitching. Go on; you know you want to!

Company car, seems silly, although I am considering buying it after the lease runs out.

Ah, yes. Wait until it's yours and then have a brand new interior; no point in spending money before then.

Well, what a fantastic job. Looks brilliant . It's full leather, unlike the factory supplied seats that have leather facings and 'leather-look' vinyl sides.

The people were very helpful; gave us coffee when we arrived and use of the cloakroom to freshen up; gave us a lift into the Meadowhall Centre; phoned me when they were nearing completion to say everything had gone well and a car had just left to pick us up whilst they were finishing off. Another cup of coffee when we got back whilst they tidied up.

The whole job was first class sprinkled with genuine Northern hospitality.

Finished job, in my opinion, is better than the factory fit option; it feels softer leather and the Silver stitching appears bolder.

I will take some piccies in the morning for you to see

And the ride back....ooh; the smell of that leather.... sorry, but the rest of this article has been censored to avoid any jealousy from non-leather owners!

ps: (now I've got my breath back) really glad I went for the all black choice.
