Hi dubya, there's me going on about Civinfo and you knew all along . We should have a secret handshake like the Masons, with different ones for a 'Valvecap', 'Triangular Exhaust' etc.

Maybe we should have a new Topic section for 'Leather Conversions'

Hi Allan
Welcome to the 'bespoke leather club'
Just knew you would be dead chuffed with TL efforts - they do a superb job.
Think if I have any fitted by them in the future, I'll take your route by cutting out the middle man (dealer) and go direct to Rotherham - but attempt to leave 'she who must be obeyed' at home - very tricky one that!
Did you get just the one seat back pocket?

Hi Bassa, by going direct the whole job is done in a day. You talk directly to the experts so any query you have is dealt with immediately, not through a third party. I ordered on Monday and it was all fitted on Thursday. We had a good day out with a nice meal at 'The French Cafe' in Meadowhall. I actually bought more clothes than June and we had time to visit 3 travel agents to get quotes (Thomsons gave us a free cup of coffee as well). I also saved money as it worked out cheaper with no dealer to pay and my car was not out of service for several days.

If I had ordered something special I would have waited an extra 7 - 10 days but still had full use of my car.

A very pleasurable way to do business with a great result. I will definitely do it this way next time as well.

Ps: I like that; 'Bespoke Leather Club'.

I've started a new thread in 'Gallery' for piccies of bespoke leather interiors. Please feel free to add yours so as to build a reference library for the 'Bespoke Leather Appreciation Club'.

It's tipping it down here so I had to take these piccies in the garage.

Ps: Hey, I'm now a 'Magic Rear Seat'.

That looks brilliant. I know you mention the price earlier in the thread, but could you just clarify the final price after it was all done please

And looking on the website has confused me slightly:

Quote:
What We Can Offer?
Located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire we are ideally situated to service major customer accounts nationwide and currently offer to the Dealer Network of a leading Japanease marque a managed installation operation with a level of service that we believe is industry leading. This activity is carried out at our installation facility at Portbury Docks, Bristol.
So it is in Rotherham but is it saying they have a place I can get it done in Bristol, as if you look at the Production Info section on the website, it doesn't mention Bristol there.

Fitting is done at their works in Wortley Road, Rotherham. Easy to get to, just 5 mins from the M1. Total price (inc. vat) for seats, doors, fitting, coffee and lifts to and from Meadowhall Centre: £981-13 complete.

Great job Allan, certainly gives the interior a touch of class - why does it always rain when you want to take pics -sod's law?

With mine, I liaised with TL's Paul Sindall who was extremely helpful and in fact it was his suggestion that I finally went with. All this took place before my car was delivered to the dealer so the covers had already been made up and were ready for fitting.
So while my camera, body protectors etc. were being dealer fitted, TL collected the seats/headrests/armrests/door cards one day and returned them 'leathered' the next.
The first time I saw the leather was the day I collected my car - boy, was I pleased.

How many times have you opened a door today just for a sniff and did you get your warranty doc.?

Didn't get the warranty doc, I'll drop them an e-mail. Currently running my keyboard from the front seat, sorry error there, should be: from the front leather seat, does anyone know if you can get the sat-nav screen to show this web page?

Paul and Monica were very helpful and the guys in the works; well to be honest, everyone we met and spoke to were just great .

Bassa and dubya, get your piccies posted in the 'Bespoke' section of the Gallery. Al.
