Hi elfa 7, you asked about the door cards. These piccies show them better. Please note; the small blemish on the rear seat shot is flash reflection on the cup holders. Al.

How does the leathering work.Do you take and leave your car if so how long ?
Do you strip your own seats out and take them?

You place your order after liaising with Paul at TL. If it's all Black (like mine) it will probably be in stock. You arrange a fitting day, drive there, leave your car and have a look around The Meadowhall Centre (or Rotherham) whilst they do all the removing of the seats, stripping and refit. We left our car at 08:30 and it was all done at 15:00 the same day. Brilliant service.

If you want anything special (colourwise or logos) it takes a week or so for the covers to be made but then it's still all fitted in one day.

Hi scol78
You have two choices regarding leather fitting by Transform.

My route was via the dealership who took care of the entire job. Transform collected the seats, arm/head rests and door cards one day and returned them leathered the next. In my case, this was carried out prior to collection of my new car - but can be done anytime afterwards. The cost was £1500 and the Honda dealers should have all the swatches.

The other route is to deal direct with Transform Leather. In this case you will have to take your car to them and they then perfom the complete job in approx 6 hours. This is the cheaper route as it costs quite a bit less than £1500 via the dealer - see allan40alt's posts on this thread.

My Honda Civic FK1 after 7 months waiting for delivery

Hello everbody,

First al the best with your cars from Flanders-Belgium.
Yes, it has taken so long but now 1.5 month after the delivery I'm very happy with my new car. My last one was a Citroen Picasso of 2001.
Here follows the link to some pictures of my new Civic
1.4 Sport with leather interior delivered trough my
Honda-dealer.

Hi Johan
Very nice car - great choice of colour.
Your leather appears to be the same colours as mine except the other way round.
Post it on the 'Gallery' to boost us Blueish Silvers.

Hi Johan, looks very smart. Like Bassa said, please post some piccies for us to see in the Gallery.

Sorry Scol78 (& Bassa), I forgot to mention the Dealer route.

Everything is still set for Thursday .

What did it was going onto the TL website and looking at a larger picture of the leather Civic seats which look well, just perfect! I tried to convince her and held up a small Honda 'H' logo (the one on the bottom left of the front cover of the Honda brochure) and it seemed to spoil them. Embossed, fine; but embroidered; no!

Total cost is now £981-13 (that's for seats, door panels, fitting and incl vat)"

Well if thats still the price for the seats, door panels and fitting INC for a type S, I will place my order with Transform Leather and drive to Rotherham myself. If its over £1000 then its more than I can afford.

Can someone confirm the price for the same job Alan had done?

Feel free to pm me.

Thanks

I don't see why not. A quick call to TL and they will give you the price; and if you can remove the door cards yourself I guess they may be able to arrange collection/return.

I guess your door armrests are looking a bit shabby?

They look so much better in leather. Well worth having done.

Ps: have you considered getting the centre arm rest done as well?
