For AOWC re covers

Hi again, here are the 2 pictures I have taken of the seat covers. They come off 'inside out' if you get my drift, the pictures do show the clips. The fitter said that to fit them should take around 6 hours - it takes 12 man hours to do seats, headrests and doorcards, so if you've been quoted for 6 hours, that is the right time. Have sent you a PM.

Centre consol - don't think I actually said for it to be done, remember saying seats, headrests & doorcards, which were all done. Aroma at moment is a bit gluey as the doorcards are glued, but more 'leathery' today than yesterday.

Hi AOWC

Nice to meet you and your wife earlier today. Hope you had a good journey home and I'm sure you'll get those covers on soon!

All the best

Chris

I've seen Lippy's and it's not as good as the real Civic seats in luxurious velourish material.

In fact, I've got a spare set if anyone wants to get rid of their dreadful leather interiors.

Re allan40alt 's post as above -

Been in contact with Steve at Transform - the centre armrest should have been done as it is part of the kit they order, so don't know why it wasn't done (or that no one realised it was missing) and they have now ordered it. so it will be fitted in a week or so, but I have to send it up to them.

Well worth doing. It finishes it off.

Now thats a nice interior. It's pretty expensive, but so tempting!

Although the regular civic seats are still 10X nicer than say a Focus or a Golf.

Smile NOT expensive !

I have just booked into [TL] for a complete Light Grey \ Black leather interior (plus rear parking sensors - not because I can't park - but because of an alarming incident involving small children running 'invisibly' behind me as I reverse-parked outside of a local supermarket !) ...

Anyway, about £ 1,000 for the complete job is - for what you get - very good value (where else can you get that price for the same ?) ...

However - I promise to update everyone with my final verdict - after the actual fitting (in the latter part of August) ...

I've got the centre armrest bit on now - we actually did it ourselves - so will post up some newer piccies.

Just about everyone who has seen the seats thinks they look really great - even my 'doubting thomas' 25 yr old nephew - he thinks they are really cool!!
