Warranty help
Right, got two problems with my CTR. One small, one not so.
1) Small rattle from dash behind radio - this is only minor, but severely irritating (especially as my mates 8 year old Peugeot has no rattles). Can I get this fixed under warranty? If so, is it a case of calling up Honda or going direct to the dealer and asking them to 'fix a noise'? Just seems like a strange request to make! 2) My 3rd gear - I've got an '08 car, but seems as though I have the dreaded 3rd gear selection problem. I've already crunched it twice and that's being careful - its just feels notchy, especially compared to the other gears which select beautifully. Has anyone had the work done/know if this is something Honda are looking at? Or is there a mile long thread dedicated to this already? Thanks all. |

As with any new car take it to your local dealer and they will
look into your problems which should both be covered by warranty |

You'll be surprised the things people take their cars back to the dealer with. At the end of the day it's your car and you want it to be right, so if it isn't supposed to rattle get it fixed.
