the vtec is only used at the lower point on full throttle. Its a stunning mod and makes the car what it should be.

Heh, you should go for a drive in a remapped and returboed Focus ST; how does 510 Nm and 330 PS going through the front wheels sound?

Somehow, it works - the fact a normal spec ST has absolutely no torque steer is something of a miracle given it has 320 Nm from 1600 rpm - it's just beyond human understanding that a 330 car can even move away at all, lol.

Lets be honest about it, adding more torque to the Type R could only be an improvement.

regarding 225 bhp

Hi, Guys There Is No Need To Get Agitated If You Cannot Boost Your Fn2 To 225. Thats The Reason I Said It Will Be A Limited Edition. A Full Report Of Dyno Testing Will Be Provided To Me By My Mate To Confirm The Output.

You Guys, The Best Thing Is Wait For The Mods To Come Out.

The super charger kit for the FN2R is just about ready Down Under. One of the packages is expected to yield 290Hp while the top package which includes a racing clutch is expected to produce about 315 HP,sorry no torque figures yet.
Checkout the pics.and see what other bits are offered in the packages.
JTune FN2 Super Charger + Clutch Pictures - HondaTech Australia Forums

I would've thought by now Hondata U.K would have similar packages.

I look forward to seeing the dyno run. Im guessing currently that i wont, but please do prove me wrong.
25bhp plus can be gained on the fn2 but not at peak imo. Mid range gains are to be had but i think that an ecu/remap alone will only give 215 at peak tops.
Good luck.

Don't the skirts look a bit crepe on the silver CTR's? I hope you are getting the 19's too.

How do you work this out ?? They are the same skirt's, standard one's anyway, across the whole range, regardless of colour.

There comes a point in any front wheel drive car that too much power is impossible to put down properly. In a rear wheel drive car its fun and can be controlled to a point by feeding in the steering. But in a FWD car it ruins the handling. The chassis is the key to getting the power down properly and with a bit of tweaking here and there it can be improved but ultimately if the car isn’t up to the job it’s a bit of a waste of time and money. Especially as all you can hope to do is create a lot of tyre smoke and noise which on public roads is irresponsible and dangerous. On a track however it’s bloody good fun. Hope your going to up rate the brakes, suspension and tyres.

hi mate ,not having a pick.
just wondered what ecu your mate will be remapping?
at this point there is no programmable ecu for the fn2,not like the kpro for the ep3 which is remappable to certain add ons etc etc.
the ecu cpl offer is not remappable, there will hopefully be an add on for it to make it programmable in the near future.
to get which ever ecu you are using to 225 would be a great mod i would defo consider.

Sorry, I'm using the launguage from the first post, I mean the optional "bumpers" with the black inserts don't look that great on the silver CTRs.

You Dont Have To Mate!!!

Like I Said It Will Be A One Off Model With 225bhp Otherwise Wouldnt Be Limited Edition.

Best Option For You Is To Wait Until Someone Is Capable Of Getting Your Ctr To 225.
