I found that when I raised the seatbelt adjuster on the side upto the highest point it manages to clear the seat and has so far saved me from a 'shiney' patch.......I do also have my seat at the lowest (although I still feel about 10 feet up) position which may help.

You can always buy some of those beeded seat covers now that would protect your seat! LOL

Plain black seat belt pads for me, hand crafted from black suede with red stiching, 15 cm long and fixed in place with some self-adhesive velcro straps.
Almost perfect match to seats and look factory standard - plain black avoids the boy racer look. |

I just noticed today that my seat has now got a shiny patch too
I'll have to dig out my seat belt pads and see if they stop it getting any worse. Usually only use them in the summer to stop the seat belt rubbing me. Which annoyingly always happens when wearing summer tops with less coverage! don't know what else to do that doesn't spoil the look of the seats - which i like |

I'm gonna see how the seats go, if they start too look pants then I think i'll just get them done in the leather. Jings I could of got that done instead of buying a new bag lol!
