It's probably karma...... one of THOSE days.

Well I had one of those days today....sun shining I gave my car a quick wash, as I didn't have too much time (wanted it looking good) ahead of a visit from my mate who was wanting to see the rocket up close for the first time.....he lives away so it's rare to see him.

The stone chip invasion dampened my spirits, but I'm learning to live with it and my popping bumper was surprisingly in place!

He loved it -we went out for a spin and I gave it some on a few quieter roads and then the A1 on the way back - the power impressed him as he wasn't sure what it'd be like.

Got back - appears I killed an entire swarm of insects en-route, not so clean now...

Went out to get a few things and some arse in a Bora decided to get right up my backside and flash me...... I bit and left him standing (not big, not clever but hey...).

Came back, and my bumper had popped again but at both sides by the corner of the lights this time.......phoned dealer to check if they had a date for fixing it yet and (naturally the warranty manager was off, service and parts closed..blah...blah). Will call again Monday.

Well at least I have cold beer in the fridge....

Probably Karma for the boy in the Bora....hate to say but it seems like one of those days.

Its rained here and its left that crap over the car (again!). Had been out in the M3 this morning and got no issues, took the CTR out and got some idiot in a Mondeo right up my arse trying to get by me and the old boy in front hence I couldn't go any faster, then left him standing while waving out the window (Oops!)

You haven't had the badge on the Grill fitted have you? Option at purchase? Only reason I ask is my mates CTR was excatly the same

Yes,Grill badge was already fitted when I bought it.

The bumper feels as if it isn't "tight" if you know what I mean, although dealer has had it off and on twice now they have asked Honda if they could do a warranty fix - got the ok 2 weeks ago but appears parts not arrived (or they forgot to contact me).

Still though, the beer is good!

I think it took a few attempts for the dealer to get Si's right. It didn't look good at all and your eye was drawn to it all the time and that was before he told me about the problem. His all seemed to have come about due to the dealers taking the bumper off to fit the grill badge hence why I did mines myself and without removing anything.

They should fix it, its them that have caused it. Don't know why they just don't fit these at the factory, would save all this palava with things not fitting right.

Glad the beers okay, i've moved onto Rum and Vodak now lol!
