hello everyone, i would just like to say hello as a newcomer to this forum
im buying a civic type R next week just wanted to confirm what were the optional extras in the 30th anniversary edition and also the final edition model please????? im after a late 2006 model, so i think its the final edition i want?? what is the premier pack?? ive seen one at honda showroom, specs: its a showroom display car which has had one registered owner since may 2006 with full service history £15,250 facelift model 18,000 miles very good condition the extras, it has rear the tints, AC, momo wheel, red interior, mirror indicators but not the fog lights is this a good price?? and is it the full pack besides the foglights?? any help would be much appreciated thank you Rav Last edited by type r magic; 14th May 2008 at 12:05. |

hi mate
sorry can't tell you much about the ep3 as the fn2 is my first honda, but at that price have you not considered paying **** a grand more for an fn2, i have seen brand new @ £16.5k, unless ** not keen on it of course. imo sure go for an ep3 in u got like a 10-12k budget but to pay so much for the old shape? not so sure about that, guess depends how much you like or dislike the new one. a lot of ep3 owners seem to have an "issue" lol, with the new one but whenever I've read an opinion of owners of both they like the new one. just some food for thought! jonny. |

Some info here Honda Celebrates Civic's 30th Anniversary With Special Type-R and here Specifications Please do not be offended if we don't know the optional extras on this car for the fact we don't oen EP3's but some people have done before. You may want to ask some of the people on this site Civic Type R Owners • Index page a lot of them have EP3's on the brain! |

Actually 666 has dropped the price of his FN2 to £14,500 Silver FN2 GT for sale. £14,500 thats much cheaper than the EP3's you've been looking at. madness

i will actually be picking it up for about 12-13k though, maybe cheaper, because i get discount at Honda
and i only want the ep3 model im afraid guys, my dream car anyway ive done bit of research and seems the only real optional extras were just the fog lights on the final edition 2006 model anyone else that can confirm this??? think i will try the correct forum next time to lol but thanks for help anyway |

Do you need glasses at all? If you care to read what had now been posted by myself twice! I've highlighted what you've asked and something I already confirmed: (Sorry but when people decide to ask questions and not read what is in front of them it gets right on my t*ts!)

If your next line is, I work for Honda so get a discount then forget it.....otherwise you would have known the specs of the EP3 and if your only new I'm 100% sure there would be people there who would be able to help and point you in the right direction. Next you'll be telling us you've also managed to wrangle 2 years free servicing out of them too! On another point, that was the price of a 2006 EP3 last July (again as i've said before) was £15k. I've just had a look at the price of used EP3's and the most expensive I can see it £13,995! Last edited by angie4m; 15th May 2008 at 15:09. |

Boy was doing my head in that day.......wrong thread, several threads and well best to ask on a 7th gen site than an 8th gen site....I know that Honda are known for having a following but the new civic was designed to get the older generations out of the car and the younger ones into it and quite a lot of folk on this site are first time Honda owners
