Type R Oil Filter?

This is such a noob question but where is my oil filter?

the car has done 4000 and i wanted to flush the oil and replace the oil filter and now i have a bottle of Castrol Edge and a new oil filter but cant find the oil filter on the car

Spoke to the dealers in the morning and they said although i don't need to change the oil till my first servicing (September) it will cost me £100 in labor for the oil change alone.

Any suggestions?

This may help,if its the same place as the 2.2 Diesel

try a different dealer, I got an oil and filter change at 1200 miles for £75.00 all in from dealer with correct oil (supplied by them) and service book stamped, its only a twenty min job tops

naa dave it was a good post but the engines are different.
