Well i did it......... a slightly disappointing 53.2 deg C. Thought it would be much hotter than that . Even then i couldn't hold it tightly for too long

But it wasn't as hot today as yesterday

Try living in Greece and getting in our car (cook a steak) I've come up with a solution. I've taken a tennis ball and cut it in half, then I glued a soft thin cloth on the inside. It's just perfect. Try it!

Actually, I have been reading the owner's manual of my 1.8 last night (sad I know), and it mentions that the knob (oh, err) gets hot in summer and cold in winter (at least in the Finnish version). And slightly off topic, I noticed many other things that are mentioned in the manual, but people are posing questions instead on the forum...

Yeah there has been a few occasions when I have quoted from the manual and even provided the page numbers and pics of the pages to prove that it does exsist lol!

Sometimes it does pay to real the manual first, however I wouldn't have been looking up that one about the knob

Well I wasn't actuuaaally looking for any reference to the "knob", honest! Just happened to come accros it during my intensive reading session.
