Carbon Fibre Bonnet

Whilst on holiday in one of the S panish Islands I came across a newish Milano Red CTR with a Carbon Fibre Bonnet ( pics to follow ) along with the CF splitters and anthracite rage wheels it really did look good. I ask the driver where he obtained the bonnet and he mumbled in broken english somwhere in Germany. Has anyone come across this company but i,m thinking it was a bespoke job.
It was the same style as this.................... Just the bonnet that is !

send him a PM Rich

He ordered a CF bonnet for his car before it was stolen, he might even have it sitting in the garage () for you to buy or at least point you in the right direction

Personal opinion - that looks f-ing 'orrible.

Especially with the red wheel arches and CF Quarter Panels...

No. Wrong.

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

I was thinking about the Carbon fiber bonnet earlier and wondering IF it could be painted over as I'm in the process of making my car a race going one instead as it don't go anywhere really.

Think its possible? The Paint I mean.

You can paint them but you need to think of that before you buy one. There is two types, the version you have GOT to paint and the version you CANT paint. Something to do with the sealer coating.

Cheers for that! I just don't fancy a black bonnet if I keep the car red

Angie, you can get it plastic 'shrink wrapped' that way it'll just be covered without the need to paint it at immense cost.

That's the bonnet i want, but with the two vents as per the first picture, i can't find one anywhere!

There's a company in the U.K Cool Louvres Welcome that stamp louvres / vents into bonnets but it would probably ruin the carbon one as on a 'normal' bonnet they need to respray it afterwards.

Anyone have any idea how / where i can get hold of a bonnet the same as the one in the first pic (of the Mugen RR) ?

May I ask why you would like to mount a carbon bonnet in your TypeR? I understand you just like the way it looks, right?

Oh yeah, no practical reason, i just like the way it looks, the 'R' is going through a bit of modification at the moment, and i think it would be a nice finishing touch (aswell as the civinfo.com sticker naturally)

And of course, i'll be posting pictures when it's 'finished'
