Well, I've had my CTR-GT for 2 days now and I can catagorically say it is BLOODY FANTASTIC!!! Ok, so the ride is on the firm side and the paint chips far too easily but holy mother of moonmen it's good fun! So far (and I admit it is more than a little early to tell) it isn't creaking, rattling, squeeking or knocking from any part of the vehicle. Having said that, there is quite a bit of intrusive engine roar when you toe it... |

Put 6.5k on her and its great. Feel nice just tootling around or going like a maniac. And it still gets looks. The only thing is the washing and hoover novelty has worn off. Next weekend maybe lol |

I agree with the looks, I used to get a few when I had my BMW 325i Sport but nothing compared to my CTR. Already i've had loads especially off younger types but this morning an old bloke walking down the road gave me an exaggerated wink! Well, at least I think he did... It looks so good when it's clean but I am sure over time I will end up like you and slip a little. |

Yeah it attracts all sorts. I got chatted up by a guy old enough to be my Dad in the BMW forecourt while waiting on my Mum picking my Dad up. It all started over my car, he thought it was a great looking car, thought it looked better than the ones in the showroom......it did look different i'll give him that, but flattery may sometime get him somewhere. Although I did decline his offer to keep the car on the forcourt all night

There's a narrow and relatively long tunnel under some railway sidings near home and I am not ashamed to admit to dropping the windows and giving it a bit of shoe going through it... I just need to think of a name for her now... |

Blackrod, congratulations on your purchase. The ordeal with build quality is present on the North American forums too. I hate to say it but I'm relieved to see that the paint issue isn't just an American thing.
