Well I will have 10 of them then for that price! (Can't find a rate for SA$ just Rand????)

Live rates at 2008.09.08 09:08:56 UTC

1,490.00 ZAR = 107.096 GBP

South Africa Rand United Kingdom Pounds 1 ZAR = 0.0718765 GBP 1 GBP = 13.9128 ZARhere!!

Rand is the national currancy of SA but they accept the US dollar so think it safe to assume it is indeed US dollars they are quoting in.

That's more like it.

£600 ish as expected.
That's a bargain as it comes with £100 worth of brake lines. Buy direct and keep your fingers crossed about import and local tax's and it's not so bad.

Looking at pictures of LHD vs RHD FN2s, sadly enough, it is true. Unless we find a way to relocate the brake fluid inlet thingy, it will sit right where the airbox would be going.

£564.00

FN2 GruppeM

This is the price. Not part of any group buy either.
We have the first batch at this price but as they are being imported the Yen£££ rate changes so price may need to vary slightly in the future.

We make our money on fitting, setups and tuning so the price is as good as you will get anywhere.

Also remember our 15% offer on labour this month so could be quite a saving.

Expect 2-3 hours.
It's taking that long for the FD2's and was a good 2 hours on the EP3's.

Paul

E-mail from Gruppe-M about LHD kit:
---------------------------------
Re: Message from gruppem online store
Hello.

Thank you for the contact.

It is due to confirm whether installation of a left-hand-drive car can be done.
If how much modifies, it will be due to search about whether installation is possible.
And information.

Thank you.

I think if they have enough people emailing asking for a LHD kit, they´ll make it.

I have emailled them a few times and evem gave them the idea of removing all the original intake, relocate the batery where the intake was. That leaves a massive space where the batery was, i recon a great place for a proper intake!!!

We´ll see, but i do want a GruppeM badly!! Lets hope!!!

For those of you wondering if it can be installed on a LHD car, the answer would be yes. You would definitely have to relocate the master cylinder, but I've seen it done on a USDM FA5, using a JDM FD2 intake.

I still don't understand why Gruppe M did that under the hood deal though. I don't see why they didn't recreate the FD2 intake for the FN2.

Rgarding LHD FN2, how difficult will be to relocate the master cylinder ?
What's wrong with the under hood design ?

Regarding the FD2 gruppe-m intake, I don't understand what's happening when it rains ... if you have that scoop on top of the hood (under the rain wipers) ?
