Do any of our dealership friends here know when they will be getting price/equipment lists for the Type-R ?

I really need to know whether or not to get saving or to just give up all hope now

Hi Knat,
The spec for Type-R:-

18" alloys
Brake callipers with Type-R logo
Type-R serial no.
Alcantara sport seats
Chrome kick plates
tailgate spoiler
Leather steering wheel
Red i-vtec rev indicator and speedo
Type-R suspension

GT version:
Dual zone climate control
Cruise control
Front fog lights
Auto headlights with dusk sensor
Rain sensor wipers

Not sure on prices just yet but will keep you posted, can take a deposit now to guarantee order as one of the first released.

AHA!!! So just as i suspected the SatNav will be an added extra.

Thanks for the spec list but seeing as everything is an extra its looking less and less likely I'll be able to get one. Unless Honda make the prices for the GT pack and the SatNav accessible, which would be very nice of them

sounds like i'll be popping in to see this new colour for the civic type-s that mistyn has coming in

Satnav is available on the Type R, but it also comes with all the other stuff, HFT, dual climate, auto wipers and lights etc. You can't have it added later nor can you have it without. It's just like all the other Civic's in the range either you have it with the toys or without.
