Talking New type r £15470.. Vxr compare

Hi folks.. Was doing some searching to make sure i got the best deal when i bought my car. It seems i did... I got the ctr gt with rages and it's a world apart from my old astra vxr, where that was a fast car, it just didn't know how to handle it. It seems that the ctr can get all bent out of shape in a corner but it sorts itself out.. Brilliant. Anyways while i was searching about the web and making enquiries i found 1 type r in milano, brand new for £15470 at the dealership down in the south east where i got mine, they will deliver to you as well... Lings honda...:d

Phoenix Glasgow are a bit of a rip-off I found.....

Phoenix Stirling a bit better but still not willing to dicount to the extent that dealers down south are. I reckon they think they've got a monopoly around these parts, but they didn't count on us canny Scots being a bit more resourceful than that...

Yes i think they do i would suggest to anyone in the market up here to stay away from the phoenix honda sites as well as the arnies and try the guy at lings honda.... Just use them for servicing up here, saying that if the sevice department is anything like the sales team at phoenix i may be forced to go to parks of hamilton.....

They sometimes want a couple of hundred quid for delivery however you can usually negotiate this free as part of the deal, or else go down on the train and pick it up - take a day off work and enjoy it

I am in greenock. Work and play in Glasgow lol

I went down to York and drove my civic up. Wouldn't trust anyone else to do it!! It's a good way to get to know the car too.

Linwood Honda are a joke for sales. Their service department is tres good tho!
