Hi Ceky

Can you reflash a FN2 ecu with this code: 37820-RSP-N02.I ask this because i've orderd the Hondata ecu in the past and it wasn't compatible with South African models.

hope this product his better that hondata (and i have one) because I hate doug and his friends at hondata.
They have a EMS for the K20Z but they don't sell it because the reflash in the USA and Europe have good sales. Like the americans say: F***data.

Gouws - I need to see a photo of the ECU with the back open and I can tell you precise! Your car is what year ?? Because in Singapore the model 2009 Type R FD2 has a difrent setup of the throttle and the normal Hondata ECU do not work properly, but because we can read and write the ECU we can do it troblefree! Till know we can do all Honda petrol without the 1.4/1.6 FIT but they will be availeble very soon ....
Regards,
Ceky

Guys 400 euros is for the mapping alone, it doesn't include an ECU, so you either send your standard ECU or send a Hondata, I don't like the sound of either. I got 13BHP with the Hondata and lower VTEC at 3800RPM, which must provide better midrange than starting at 4500/4700.

I'm going to be patient and wait, more and more will come, think carefully before rushing to get something. As I have said before the Hondata is already extremely good, it seems that Dimsport take the base Group N and tweak it here and there. Optimising cam angles etc is nothing new, the Hondata already does it.

Be careful is all I'm saying.

Stock FD2 with Hondata reflash, Toda manifold and exhaust are over 240bhp many times as tested in the UK....and above all fuelled safe.
get a mappable ECU and see even better gains! Bet their car is running with Toda camshafts as sets have been sent to Romania.

That is the good thing about the Hondata reflash and supplied maps for the Kpro's. You can trust them not to be on the edge with the ignition or potentially running lean on fuelling.

I wouldn't be sending any ECU's off for someone to map/reflash then running them in my car. Every car is different and a reflash never works well. May seem like it as makes good numbers but for how long and how safe?

If your that eager for a "tuned " map get to a local tuner to you that can map to your car and your mods. Get a Dastek or go AEM or any other tuner mappable one, or just wait a few months.

If you insist on this reflash, consider driving your car to them to get it done live. Dead cheap and easy to get to Romania....but watch out for the massive potholes!

Cool

Gouws - If inside it is the same it can be done !

For the rest of the coments thanks for your opinions!

Mine is this one till you try it is imposible to know if Hondata it is so great and the cars software it is very important to be made on the car way Hondata send you an ECU with the same file to all????? You see sam of you may know athers not but the soft in the ECU for to cars same year , same mounth it is the same ....but the difrence between them it is the mecanical parts thats why one will go allways better then other due to the macanical parts!
We try the same software for the same cars as Hondata and it work perfect! The result of more than 100 dyno's on difrent cars in Singapore it is the same !
So we are proud with the result so are the clients !When you will be one for sure you will know !

Ceky

I am sure that they can't....we have a dealer here and their result on their dyno it is far behind from our result! The product it is good but limited! For ie the japan honda's are limited to 180km/h we can remove it unichip can't, we can put the rev limiter to any number , v-tech point can be easily changed they can't and so on.

ceky
