Talking Silver Type R

Sorry about the quality it's been raining all night and the light is poor but I thought I would get a picture of the Silver "411" Type R onto the site.

If you didn't already know the I-VTEC indicator is off by default (and yes I read the manual before taking it back to the dealership complaining that a little red light wasn't working.

Hi it looks like the spoiler is attached by 2 bolts on each side of the tailgate , there maybe something else in the middle.

cheers both

The great news is that we already have those 2 bolts on the 5 door, so if it is just longer bolts to hold on the bigger spoiler...

Excellent, that's great! Anyone any idea how much such a spoiler is likely to cost?

Rab
cheers Rab

The R one is bigger again though I think?, so probably even more
And it (R version) isn't on the honda-accessories site at the moment
(not that it has prices on there anyway, but a part number would be useful)

now I finally found the offset of the fn2 type-r standard wheel. the finnish brochure says it's 55! I guess it might be difficult to find aftermarket wheels with just the right offset..

wahoo!

nice find

55 - sounds like a big offset though - thought wheels were normally 40 - 45?

but that might just be my memory playing tricks

Yeah we have the 2 bolts on the 5 door - but we do not have a hole in the windows to fasten the spoiler?
Maybe it can be glued on??

I've still got my old wheels I was going to sell them but decided to keep them, I may need to put them on somewhere down the line plus when I eventually sell it I can give the buyer the choice of standard or aftermarket wheels.
