suspension choices

i'm looking for an adjustable suspension for the FN2 and currently thinking about:
a) HKS Hipermax III,
b) TODA Fightex,
c) Feel's

which set would you recommend? perhaps some other than listed above which i haven't considered yet?

It doesnt need to be adjustable as some most awesome Mugen Engineers have set it up perfectly!

Don't know about feel's but Toda & HKS are the best money can buy!

KW v3 it's a more economic but very good suspension.
If money it's not an issue i vote for TODA or HKS and it's hard to decide which of these 2!

I have the KW variant 2 (adjustable rebound) , the car is set up about 1,5 cm lower than standard. I'm very happy with this kit , a big improvement over the stock suspension which has insufficient damping in my opinion. Although the KW's are at least as hard as stock , the ride is better due to the superior damping. Improves traction too.

well, the budget is approx. 2.5K - 3K EUR, so all of the above choices are within the planned financial range. i am personally opting for TODA, but have not decided yet.

AST, KW and Ohlins DFV (whenever they decide to release)

money no object...
Reiger!

hm, AST and Reiger post no info about pricing - any ideas about their price range? and btw are these sets actually driveable outside track / rally applications? i am looking for a set which improves the stock suspension but is still manageable on public roads

You could also consider these :

Civic 8th gen. FD2/FN2 type R RALLY dampers 4-WAY / Intrax Racing Suspension

Don't know if this set will fit within your budget .

pretty sure one of the traders here was advertising AST, either ABP or TDi, can't quite remember. These would be very good on public roads as well as track.

Don't worry about Reiger haha, probably cost more than 10000 Euros. They are strictly competition use type of suspension, I mean... check out their order form: Reiger aanvraagformulier

well, ok a) i won't be doing any rallies in the forseeable future b) don't really intend to spend 1/2 of the car's value on suspension

how about Ohlins then? any details available?

Don't think about Ohlins if you want a cheap suspension

I would go for AST (price/quality).

i did not exactly mean cheap, i meant that i don't want to spend 50% of car's value on suspension as far as I have seen some of Ohlins's price ranges for other brands they were approx 3-3.5K USD, so pretty reasonable to me. unfortunately no info on FN2 set though.

so, how does AST compare to TODA or HKS?

for the time being we have:
a) AST for approx. 1.500 EUR
b) TODA for approx. 2.500 EUR
c) HKS for approx. 2.500 EUR
d) Ohlins for ??? EUR
e) KW for ???
f) Reiger / Intrax for 10K+ EUR (rally application)
