I have a deep bronze Type R and it looks great. Sure most people think it's black but when the sun catches it, wow!

I was going to get it in Milano Red but it'd have been keyed in no time where I live. This is much more subtle and bit different from black, also it's quite rare and I like that.

The key for me is this paint job doesn't scream "Type R" instead it says (to me) sporty 3-door car that's a bit different. Sure I love my Type R but I don't always want people to be revving engines at me at the lights, resenting me for owning one or getting right up behind me expecting that I'll give it a good ragging!

Works for me anyway!

It seems like many of the commenters didnīt have the chance of having a closer look at DB. İt neither seems like orange nor brown. How do i know ? Own one

That shot also does not give the clearest impression about the colour but at least it gives an idea

I almost bought a bronze type-r from the showroom thinking it was black - thought it was the yellowy lights giving it a browny tint. Glad i double checked with the salesman.

I think everyones perception of the colour is different. I personally thought that yeah it looked ok in the showroom but in sunlight it would just look brown and i dont really like brown cars - reminds me too much of volvos in the 1980/90s.

I also think that owners of bronze cars will be slightly biased as to how it looks - they're not going to admit that the car they shelled out loads of money for looks brown!!

In the end I played it safe with NHB - not adventurous enough for bronze.

If you will feel satisfied,I can say I feel really disappointed about the colour.I wish I never bought this colour.Additionally I will sell her cause of the brown colourBut these expressions have no value except their relation with your self satisfaction.-)
The fact is that I had a close look to all other 3 colour options (needles to say where I bought the car has all colours)and easily decided to DB.What I regret is Nhbs almost same colured kia sorento (as seen on the pic) which will be sold in short. If you have classic expectations Nhb is exactly for you.For example having a black car at night is ok for me but having it continously s...s for me.In my opinion calling DB brown seems funny its like calling gray as white and insisting on
