You got the part number ?
Can't seem to find it on the AEM site.

I had a Cold Air Induction intake on my first 7th gen Civic. Added some power in the high end, and a lot of noise
The AEM intake for the EP3 K20 is said to give about 20 HP. Wonder what if will do on the FN2 K20.

20bhp? no intake will give that much on an NA. 3-6 at most for the expensive stuff. 1-3 seems about right unless something like gruppeM.

It is a "claimed" 6-8bhp so i think you are right its probs about 2-3bhp in real life.

APB are also doing their "fast road geometry setup" on the FN2 now which is what i was waiting for!

Yeah, I thought 20 bhp was kinda high too for an intake too. The comment comes from a Honda specialized tuning company here in Holland. They have a good reputation, so I would give them the benefit of the doubt. But it sounds awfully high. The even say it's between 20 and 25bhp.

Here's the PDF from AEM on an RSX Type-S. Engine spec is different so they're really no way to tell what it will do on the K20 FN2.

Really tempted by this for the noise but want something with a CAF ideally so will probably wait. As for power gains don't expect much since at low speeds/standing starts heat soak will occur so power losses will prob occur. Over 30mph shld defo give 2-3BHP more, although will feel like more due to the placebo effect of the noise increase.

Danko let us know how you get on and what you think of the sound in VTEC (can never tell from youtube)

Last CAI in put in a Honda was a mix between easy and difficult. It fitted perfectly, but there were a few bolts and screws I couldn't get loose. And I didn't have the proper tools.

So I would be really interested in how easy things are to put it in. The engine bay looks so damn crowded already.
I have the skills but I'm a lazy b@stard. If it's too much trouble I just won't get around to doing it. Too busy with a lot of other things in life already
