... or an Astra VXR, Focus ST, Mazda 3 MPS, Golf R32, Impreza WRX/STI... :P

The S3 is very expensive for it's performance.

I think that the Audi looks like a Mondeo with a big gob!.

Not that I'm biased or anything.

Fancy asking that question on this site?

to the get the spec of the civic in the audi you would have to spend around £30,000, test drove the s3 very quick but as a whole package i did not get the wow factor you would expect when parting with that kind of money.

CZ is right, it's a dull car.
And, you might mutter about the salesman in Honda dealer's. but I found the salesmen in Audi dealerships to be utterly useless.

Outside Audi's are looking better and better each year. But the interior is so boring. Same with VW.
The S3's 4x4 is nice, but makes the car heavier, not to mention expensive. I bet the only time it could beat the CTR's ass is on wet roads.

And Audi's are way overpriced. The quality difference with Honda isn't that big and certainly not worth that price.

Don't be silly. 260bhp, 4 wheel drive. 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, top end is limited to 155mph. Won't be as fun to drive or as involving as the Type R, but no doubt it's faster due to 30% more power and it's 4 wheel drive system. Shame it's £9,000 more expensive, they really can't be compared like for like. Completely different price brackets.
